The heart of our story, Sam Shoemaker, is a humble, determined farmer who takes an unexpected stand against the government to save his family’s land. Tony brings warmth, depth, and authenticity to Sam — embodying the humor, heart, and resilience that define the spirit of Micronation.
 

Tony Sanchez is a retired professor who has pursued his lifelong love of theater at the Brown County Playhouse. He has appeared in productions including Kalamazoo, A Christmas Carol, Over the River and Through the Woods, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, A Christmas Story, The Odd Couple, The Curious Savage, and Harvey. When he’s not performing, Tony is busy writing a screenplay and a children’s novella. He lives in Brown County with his lovely wife, local artist Nancy Sanchez.

Brook brings to life Luna, a free-spirited, hippie with a mysterious professional past, and a love for adventure. Driving her iconic old VW Bus, Luna becomes a close friend to Sam Shoemaker and maybe more, bringing warmth, wisdom, and a touch of whimsy to the story.
 

Brook Hogan is an actress and comedian with a love for people and a true passion for her craft. A card-carrying optimist, Brook has performed comedy improv for years and enjoys making people laugh. She’s a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, a devoted wife, and mother.

Brook has appeared in several films, including Breakup Season (2024) alongside Chandler Riggs, known for The Walking Dead, showcasing her versatility and chemistry with fellow actors.

Ashley will be portraying Natalie Smith — a sassy, quick-witted waitress with a big heart who genuinely cares about the people around her. Natalie is one of Sam Shoemaker’s closest friends and is never afraid to speak her mind (with just the right mix of charm and sass).
 

Ashley is an accomplished actor and content creator with a vibrant online presence. She has appeared in several independent films, including Intention (2024), Two Sisters (2017), and Chad (2020). Ashley is also a two-time Best Actress award recipient for her role as Becca in the indie short film A Love Not Lost.
With over 1.2 million followers on Instagram, almost 1 million followers on TikTok, and 394 followers on Facebook, Ashley has built a devoted fanbase thanks to her hilarious videos that keep her audience laughing.

We’re thrilled to welcome Tom Preston to the cast of Micronation! Tom will be bringing to life Moe Cody, Sam’s snarky yet loyal best friend who runs the local auto shop.

Tom is no stranger to the stage, having captivated audiences at the Brown County Playhouse in roles like Oscar Madison in "The Odd Couple," McCauley Connor in "The Philadelphia Story," Nunzio in "Over the River and Through the Woods," and twice as the Ghost of Christmas Present in "A Christmas Carol." His talent and dedication continue to make a big impact in the local performing arts community in Nashville, Indiana.

Bobby brings to life Mr. Richards, an aggressive, suit-wearing official determined to take Sam Shoemaker’s farm. The villainous force of the story, Mr. Richards, will challenge Sam at every turn, bringing tension, intensity, and high-stakes conflict to the film.
 

Bobby Easley is a film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and tattoo artist, and the owner of Horror Wasteland Pictures International. He has worked on projects ranging from All Sinners Night to BodySnatch, and appeared in films and TV, including The Trial of the Chicago 7, Haunt, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, and Chicago Fire. 

An actor based in Franklin, IN, Michael brings years of experience connecting with people as both a history teacher and football coach. That real-world background informs every performance, blending discipline, empathy, and humor into characters that feel grounded, authentic, and memorable. Whether on stage or on camera, Michael carries a natural authority that fits perfectly within the world of Micronation.
 

R. Michael Bennett has appeared on stage in productions such as A Charlie Brown Christmas (Charlie Brown) and Our Town (Mr. Webb) with Our Town Players. His voiceover work includes The Carson Cases (as Mike Rutherson) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: Adaptation (Patrick). 

We are thrilled to welcome Chick McGee to the cast of Micronation as the Judge — a serious, commanding, and authoritative figure who stands in stark contrast to the eccentric Prime Minister. Chick brings to life a Judge with true “big brother” energy: steady, no-nonsense, and the anchor of reason in the Micronation world.

Josh brings to life this Prime Minister, the delightfully quirky and eccentric leader of another micronation. With a penchant for elaborate proclamations, occasional fake accents, and whimsically grand gestures, he adds a colorful, unpredictable energy to Sam Shoemaker’s already complicated world.

This talented Indiana band will appear in the film and their music will help bring Sam Shoemaker’s story to life — from tunes playing in his truck to an impromptu concert on his farm! Bigfoot Yancey’s unique sound brings the perfect mix of heart, roots, and energy to the film. 
 

Bigfoot Yancey is known for their evocative storytelling and dynamic performances, blending Americana, folk, and roots influences. Fans will recognize favorites from their albums Hills and Early Years, while new listeners will fall in love with their soulful sound.

She is also the creator and host of Behind The Filter Podcast, a show exploring news, society, culture, and lifestyle. With a deep commitment to creativity, community, and connection, Johnette exemplifies resilience, passion, and the power of pursuing one's dreams.

A voice and on-camera talent with more than fifteen years of professional experience (including Chicago Fire and Empire), Tim brings a grounded, everyman authenticity that makes him a perfect fit for Officer Dave, a local cop, a loyal friend, and the kind of guy who handles the extraordinary with quiet dignity and plain common sense.
